INDUSTRY NEWS:

  • CIVIX is now suing Trulia for patent infringement on location based Internet search techniques.  NAR announced at MidYear Meetings in D.C. that they had negotiated a settlement with CIVIX for all the MLS’s,  this settlement cost CC&IMLS $9.06/member, or almost $20,000.

 

  • Henry DiGiacomo, CEO of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, and Kevin Sears, past president of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors have been appointed to the Board of Registration inBoston.
